I'm actually starting to eat like I care, thanks to the easy (and relatively cheap) recipes in this book. Cheers to food.

These recipes are so good!! Every single one I tried!! We are a meat eating family and wanted to take a break so this book is what we used for dinner for weeks and damn am I glad we did. So good and a really funny read as well.

I love the recipes in this cookbook. The Chickpea Dumplings are phenomenal. There is a lot of swear words in the cookbook, if you can over look those you will not be disappointed.

O.k. there is swearing but how many of you have sworn in the kitchen especially when something goes terribly wrong?? Anyway lotsa great recipes and finally a vegan brunch dish that everyone loves-Lentil Gravy with Biscuits. The gravy is…

One of the funniest and profane cookbooks I have ever read. Haven't been disappointed by a recipe yet!

This was the funniest read and the best way to learn to cook!

Yes there is a lot of unnecessary language in the book, but that is their "thing". The book stemmed from a website. The recipes are wonderful, all vegetarian and easy to follow, simple ingredients and best of all tasty. I really liked…

There are some pretty good recipes in here but the use of profanity grew tiresome and distracting. I didn't finish browsing, which for me and recipes, is rare. Be yourself but understand that if you want to sell your ideas and your…

The swearing doesn't do much for me, but several of the recipes (two of the salsas, baked tofu, and dry cooked tofu) have become staples in our house. And I like the pictures and font. :)

I just checked out couple of recipes in this cookbook, and got so distracted by the swear words that I gave up reading it.

Not for anyone who doesn't enjoy a lot of swearing. Otherwise; brilliantly written, hilarious, informative, great recipes and good photography. Could be a good book to get young men interested in cooking.

Entertaining. Clever and funny in some parts. May try one or two of the recipes. I tend to think of myself as a pretty informed shopper/eater, but it gave me a few things to ponder. Definitely would not want my young kids to read it but I…

This is a book that is definitely not worth a purchase. Too much unnecessary verbal diarrhea makes the reading unsavory. This bad taste then reflects onto the recipes, making them unattractive. There are so many good cookbooks out there,…

Take away all the fake gangster speak and edgy attitude, and all you have a regular cookbook without any recipes that contain meat.

The smoked almond & chickpea sammie has revolutionized packed lunches at my house. And while I mostly quit swearing after having a kid, if I'm going to drop an emphatic F-bomb, it'll be in the kitchen.

Some things are better when they are read in small doses -- like Thug Kitchen's blog/Tumblr. The trappings of their persona, with the constant swearing and the "you stupid meat eater" tone get *really* tired in book form, and detract from…

The instructions are easy to follow and unusual ingredients are explained. The food is delicious and the recipes are fun to read. My favorite cookbook EVER!

In the midst of fall cookbooks featuring preserves, kale dishes and gluten-free desserts, it takes an unusual twist to stand out from the crowd. It takes easy, inexpensive and delicious recipes to prove that real-food eating does not equal…

I haven't seen this website nor looked at the cookbook, but the concept is clearly all about selling a product with expletives thrown in. A better subtitle would have been "Eat like you give a sh*t"----the use of the F word is tired,…
