I love the Rosie trilogy by Australian author Graeme Simsion. Geneticist Don Tillman is a brilliant, hilarious, and honestly good-hearted protagonist, despite the fact that at the beginning of the story nearly everyone but his two…

Enjoyed the first of this series, The Rosie Project, very much. This second one, not so much. The protagonist got a little annoying.

So good but recommend reading it right after The Rosie Project as not to forget the important details that make this story what it is.

The audiobook was so funny and enjoyable! It's a pleasure to find a novel with a unique plot twist. This one is about a "socially awkward" some what obsessive Spock-like professor trying like heck to have a normal relationship. I…

Don is one of my favourite literary characters. I recommend this if you have read The Rosie Project.

I really enjoy following Don Tillman navigate through social norms and learning to grow in life. We all have some hard times and challenges but Don sees it all as a problem to be solved by him and he approaches it with honesty and a kind…

The sequel was a great disappointment for me. I absolutely adored the first book but the second one is just so blah and uninspiring. The premise is utterly dull and in certain parts, just totally ridiculous. I regret reading this book.

See my review of The Rosie Project. This sequel is just as funny.

Beautifully written, non-pornographic love story, followup of the first year of marriage, move to the US, pregnancy, and more than one possible divorce. PLUS! a great new character with a touching story line, and a new evil character you…

The Rosie Project set the bar so high that the sequel inevitably seems to fall a bit short. I felt the book bogged down a bit in the middle but it's well worth reading on if only so that you don't miss the wonderful chaotic scene when…

I enjoyed this as a great sequel to the Rosie Project. Don and Rosie are now in New York where Don has a university position. Rosie, while studying for both her M.D. and Ph.D decides that it is baby time and gets pregnant, notifying…

I haven't ever used five stars. Love this guy. Wish I had been able to get the previous book first though. Don't even want to bother now...scared it will disappoint.

I enjoyed just as much as the first book, The Rosie Project. Don and Rosie still have issues to work through before their first child is born. Don is as funny as ever. Again, their friends help them get through the messy stuff. I…

I didn't love this as much as the first book. While I was eager to revisit these characters, it was a little less funny and a lot more real which made it feel like much longer read to me. Overall, I still enjoyed the story, I just missed…

The second book about Don and Rosie was not as funny as the first. Thought that some parts were a "little draggy". But it was fun learning about the developing the story of the two in New York. Still quirky but perhaps too technical in…

This sequel is not quite as funny as the first but is more poignant. Worth reading if you liked the first book. ( Read it first )

This was maybe too much of a good thing. I liked it. It was funny and charming but it didn't meet my expectation set by The Rosie Project. Still a good read though.

For me, THE ROSIE EFFECT, was not quite on par with the first book in this series, THE ROSIE PROJECT, but I still enjoyed it. Don Tillman is a unique character and his continuing journey through life is both humorous and touching. His…

I thought this was a great sequel and I enjoyed it just as much as the first book. I hope there's another book being written in the series.

I didn’t think this was as good as the Rosie project, but I still found myself laughing out loud a few times and I couldn’t wait to get back to my book when I was interrupted.
