Isn't this the school that Hillary Clinton went to? I know many people have their own reservation about the Clinton's but you can't deny that Hillary is an intelligent woman. It's unfortunate that Wellesley College being as polished as it's supposed to be taught women that the only thing they could amount to was being a housewife and having children. It's inexcusable to try to hinder someone's potential, but then again, look around you and in many areas you will find people who deny others the opportunity to get ahead just because they may feel threatened.

Fair - Mona Lisa Smile (2003) 117 min. Wellesley College for women was a place for young woman to achieve academic greatness only to become stay-at-home wives; which of course “not there’s nothing wrong with that”. But to Katherine Watson, that direction was a major faux pas in her books. With revolutionary thought, Watson (played by Julia Roberts) moulds the young women to experience independent thought and break social norms. The film had great intent with a wonderful cast – unfortunately, the film's momentum loses itself especially when the scenes move away from the students and into Watson’s personal life.

Romantic Comedy with no easy answers. The role of women in the 50's is well portrayed. Julia Roberts is an endearing rebellious young professor.
