A little overlap with the techniques in The Printed Pattern but covers quite a few others, starting with simply painting on the fabric (either wet or dry to get different effects, etc.) She has a chapter on different ways of adding texture to your print, and includes things that were new to me such as using gelatin. Uses plants (and fish!) for stamping. Spends several chapters on different techniques for silk screen painting. Shows how to marble fabric (which I love) and some tie-dye techniques that are more sophisticated then what you would see on t-shirts!
