This could be the funniest spoof movie, EVER! The language is awesome '70 lingo.

HILARIOUS. Fun. So clever and entertaining. Cool appearances by Arsenio Hall, Dave Chappelle and other comedians. Superb job by Michael Jai White. This has to become a cult classic and needs a sequel. You dig?

So it goes with comedy, more than any other genre, that one thing that is hilarious to one person is just not funny at all to another. I laughed from beginning to end when I watched this film. To me that is the true measure of a comedy, not its intellectual merits as far as being film, or if its socially conscious or, blah blah blah. Did it make me laugh? is the only criteria for it being funny. This movie succeeded in that regard. I would recommend it but there is just no way to know if another will find this funny or lame. Check it out for yourself and find out.

agree 100% with this concise review by Libraryman1_0:
Very funny, comedic homage to the Blaxploitation film genre of the 1970's is everything you'd want in a movie of this nature and more. Michael Jai White as the title character Black Dynamite carries this movie.

This black movie is so instantly forgettable i don't remember anything about it.I really don't think that my star rating for this will get better if i ever decided to see this again.Maybe watching every Blaxploitation film ever made (which i haven't done yet) might help this parody's or homage's cause for those outside the box black films,BUT I DIGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the trailer on another flick I'd checked out and hoped for a send-up of 70s blacksploitation movies a la "I'm Gonna Get You, Sucka!" That shows what hoping'll get you, it was a good though unoriginal idea which turned out to be a complete waste of time. maybe it would have succeeded as a sketch on "Saturday Night" or as a blackout elsewhere or as a half hour still someplace else. It was overwrought, drawn-out mercilessly and totally self indulgent. Go anywhere else for your yucks, you'll be glad you did!

This was a very funny comedy, even though it had some very good action throughout, minus the minor explicit sex scene; this movie was excellent. Michael Jai White AKA Black Dynamite was excellent.

Holy Grindhouse! It's like I died and went to a theater in the Village in 1971! I loved this movie - blaxploitation films are one thing, but this is an over-the-top parody of same.
In one scene, during the hero's rant, the overhead microphone drops down into the shot so often the actor finally gets distracted and looks up at it. In another, during a fight scene, an ally is fighting the "bad guy" and hits him wrong, and you can tell they step out of the script, becuase he's actually hurt - a second later, it cuts back to the fight scene and the bad guy is now a DIFFERENT ACTOR - the scene then quickly ends. Hilarious.
You gotta GLUE on sideburns to get'em that big........
Totally full of period slang, like "jive-@ss turkey" and "my man; you dig?" - slappin' five and velour suits with paisley shirts with the biggest collars you ever saw. Nice 60-70's Detroit metal too.
Everything you might think was sappy about a cheap film made in the 70's:overdone to the point of hilarity. It's almost hard to recognize some of the mainstream actors in this film, it's so intentionally dumbed down, but they're there: Arsenio Hall as "Tasty Freeze" and Tommy Davidson as "Creamed Corn" are atypically good.
