Another Jane Austen spinoff?? Yes, really. Don't let the cheesy (no pun intended!) title put you off. This was a fun and lighthearted modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. It's not an exact retelling; it pays homage to Austen's classic work without copying it verbatim.

The characters are rather one-dimensional, and I found the subplot with the grad student a little far-fetched (without giving any spoilers). Overall, though, it was light, it was fun, and it was an interesting chick-lit take on Jane Austen.

An interesting story, somewhat predictable if you are reading closely. But a likeable heroine who is just ditsy enough to be funny.
