How disappointing! I loved Scumble and Savvy, but in this volume the magic is just gone. I couldn't sympathize with Gypsy the way I did with Mibs or Ledge. The plot is frenetic but lacks actual substance. I read up to page 250 and just couldn't get any farther.

This is a sequel, read Savvy first. Fun road trip adventure. Suspension of disbelief necessary for adult readers. A fun lark for tweens and kids. Fast moving. Satisfying. wild winter weather and amazing magical feats. loved it.
