200 pages into a book is usually not where i want to give up on it, but indeed i did. The main character narrative (the detective) is boring, flat, and uninteresting, I have no idea who she is, and the one small peek into her past is so briefly pursued that it doesn't keep me motivated to push through. The two narratives running parallel to the detective are/is only a tad more interesting, the nameless killer narrative was edging out the main story and even that was pretty dull. Even when there was action, there was no action. This book just sat there and so did the story.
Bad. If i give up on a book you know its bad
