This book follows the song 99%. Instead of saying "A dragon lives forever but not so little boys" it says "A dragon lives forever but not so little boys and girls". It makes the writer look ignorant to the difference between a singular male and a plural male. This song is talking about Jackie Paper, ONLY. It is not talking about every single child on earth. So, saying "little boys" is the correct way to write it. It makes the writer of the book look very ignorant in English and who the boy is referencing in the song. It was a bummer trying to read/sing along with my son while the song is saying one thing and the book another.
A downer for my 3-year old who demands I read the book, then cries and cries at the end
We used this book to try and make our daughter less scared of dragons. She used to be terrified. It worked, she is doing better.
