Joseph Hildith is an eccentric chef who lives in a large country manor. He befriends a young woman named Felicia who has come to town searching for her boyfriend. Felicia is attracted to a seemingly harmless and extremely helpful Hildith, trusting him, entering his home and his life - only to discover too late that she is not the first woman this man has taken in - although she may be his last.

This Canadian-UK collaboration is a slow-paced thriller. The flashbacks, the slow-panning camera, and the cooking videos all taxed my patience. Things picked up toward the end but I had to wait a long time.....

I saw this movie by accident having missed the one I intended to see. The director did an excellent of job of blending the story with flashbacks. The story is very twisted. Bob Hoskins is excellent in this movie. I was pleasantly surprized. I don't know if it is on DVD. I saw it on IFC.
