Life is good for Clare. Those, um, womanly curves she's been waiting for have begun to arrive. She's got a new dog. And she's finally said goodbye to Elsa, her imaginary friend since she was five. But just when you thought she had it all figured out ... Enter eighth grade. At first, it's not so bad--she's got a new best friend, Allison. She's still a boyfriendless social outcast, but hey, Allison is in the same boat ... until Ginny Germaine, the school's prettiest, most popular girl, decides she wants Allison all for herself. And sort of like Lady Macbeth, Ginny always gets what she wants.Who can Clare turn to? The eager new drama teacher? No. Way. How about that weird little kid next door? Definitely not. Elsa? But she's gone ... right? Middle-grade and 'tween readers, teachers and librarians will love Yvonne Prinz's cynical, witty heroine and Terry Wong's sparkling cover illustrations. Book three in this smart and exuberant series is Double-Dare Clare.Ages 10-13

Great book! I could totally relate to the characters. =) It's a quick read though, so for those of you who prefer tomes', (Word for a really really big book. =) it might not be the book for you. =)

this book was okay but not that many things really occurs when you are thirteen but i found it a good book and has many things that many people encounter.

Not bad, not good. Not boring, not interesting. Just okay in general. The concept of an imaginary friend at that age is interesting though...

i think that not fair clare was a really good book. The only thing that i found a little different is how she has a imaginary friend. Yet like my friend says, Having and imaginary friend is ok if you have real life friends as well

I found this book a bit confusing because it was not the first book so I didnt understand it. Also I found how she had an imaganery friend was weird,

This wasn't a book that i would usually read because i am a mystery type of person and not many people experience that when they are 13.
