When and if you find your humor, your curiosity, and a penchant to look at the surface
of some thing that enchants you,
then you'll be on the track!

As a whole, the "Mythbuster" series is a good idea gone bad. The series theme is to put the scientific method to the test, to explore long held, but unsubstantiated, beliefs and urban rumors. The problem? It is overly focused on holding the attention of the short-attention-spanned. Maybe that is necessary for commercial viability in this distracted age, but the jerky presentation -- staying with the same subject for at most 5 minutes before switching to something entirely different, then back again, endlessly -- is very annoying. Still, two of the twelve ideas explored in this DVD set are worth watching, enough to put up with all the Mythbuster scatter-brained presentation. The "Underwater Car Escape" is especially useful for any automobile driver to watch. The knowledge gleaned could save your life someday. And "Bullets Fired Up" is just a plain fun "what-if" to explore.
