there are two sides to every breakup.

This is Jordan and Courtney, totally in love. Sure, they were an unlikely high school couple. But they clicked; it worked. They're even going to the same college, and driving cross-country together for orientation.

Then Jordan dumps Courtney -- for a girl he met on the Internet.

It's too late to change plans, so the road trip is on. Courtney's heartbroken, but figures she can tough it out for a few days. La la la -- this is Courtney pretending not to care.

But in a strange twist, Jordan cares. A lot.

Turns out, he's got a secret or two that he's not telling Courtney. And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other.

Told from two perspectives, Courtney and Jordan, and two different time periods, before and during the trip, this is a story about Courtney and Jordan who, after 4 months of dating, break up and still have to take a four day road trip to college together. Over the trip they realize things about themselves and each other. Will Jordan and Courtney resolve their issues that made them break up in the first place or is this the end of the road for them? Full of twists and turns, this is an amazing book and probably my favourite Lauren Barnholdt book. Rating 5 out of 5 stars.

good book, but closed with a bad ending. Not because it was a tragic ending or something else of the sort, but because it just lacked in the follow through. I liked the book though and got through it quickly. At first I didn't like the main character because Barnholdt started off making her keep complaining about the break up in a whiney sort of way, but I warmed up to her eventually. But besides the iffy start, and equally "bleh-ish" ending, I liked it.

I liked this book. I liked how it was from both Courtney's and Jordan's perspectives. So, you got both sides of story. It was also cool how it went from before the trip, to during the trip. Although at times it was confusing. This book was funny. I loved how at first Jordan didn't like Courtney and then they started to get to know each other.

I jjust loved this book. I finished it in maybe 3 hours. I love it when the couples bicker at eachother. I really like how you could tell that they both still loved eachother but Jordan had to keep a secret, Courtney knows nothing about.
