Far better than average Marvel animated fare- I only wish some of their live action releases could match this level of quality!

I loved Planet Hulk. Other than the batman animated series, I haven't watched much animated marvel/DC stuff but this was an excellent movie. Great animation, amazing story, and a really interesting Hulk with emotional depth. I have read the graphic novel this is based on and the movie is a much simpler scaled down version. Personally, I would have been happy if the movie version was a bit longer and had more of the book in it but it was good the way it was. A couple of notes: The best thing about Planet Hulk is that you don't need to know any Hulk back story or other Marvel Universe stuff. It is a great stand alone story. Secondly, I think this is rated PG-13, which is probably about right. This isn't a kids movie for a 5 year old. It is quite violent with some scary and maybe disturbing scenes at least for young children, so just be careful about letting kids under 12 watch it.

My favorite animated comic superhero movie. The hulk can actually talk in this movie which is refreshing and adds a whole new level to this movie. Great voice acting and the action scenes are really awesome. The movie has a great touching/shocking scenes throughout which im surprised it got a pg rating. A movie you should not miss!
