Wonderful book that deals with the concept of praxis in a very personal manner (love). While I very nearly stopped reading due a strong lapse of insight and wisdom on the part of Fromm, which I won't mention here so as to not deter potential readers, the book as a whole stands strong in the tradition of Paulo Freire and similar authors which communicate to us the importance of engaging with the world and ourselves. Highly recommended, however that recommendation is not given without also saying that the lessons in this text are not restricted to it's topic, but however are made more meaningful through the possibility of generalization into a way of looking at the world with a wider scope.
