My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia Vol. 1, Izuku Midoriya : Origin By Horikoshi, Kōhei Book - 2015

The plot for this story is that you follow a underdog, Midoriya Izuku. In this world, humans have gained superpower except a rare few. Midoriya is in that rare few. The story is pretty straightforward as he try's to be a hero with no power until his idol gives him a offer to become his successor. The characters are very well drawn and the plot is well executed. It gives the traditional shonen jump feel. The plot is very interesting however the pacing of the story is much slower than most shonen manga. I did feel myself getting attached to certain characters and liking some instantly. There are a few times in the print that they recycle some previous scenes ( which is fine ) but the way they did it was they shrank the scene to fit in a box, which made it hard to read. I highly recommend the book/series and give it a 4.5/5 stars.
