I have read all the books in this series, and for the most part, have enjoyed Kinsey and been untroubled by her sometimes ambiguous morals, since it always felt like bending the rules to get the bad guy. In this book, Kinsey is trying to find a blackmailer who is threatening to expose evidence of a sexual assault. I was uncomfortable that Kinsey's clients were trying to keep their son from being held accountable for a sexual assault, and that this shielding of the son was implicitly approved in Kinsey's accepting the parents as clients. The conclusion of the story was satisfying, but the premise left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm sorry that this is the last book in an otherwise enjoyable series.
