It seems I am the only reviewer that liked this film. I liked the story, the lighting, the costuming, the editing, the actors, the characters, the art direction. I thought it was really great. Beatty did a great job, and it was wonderful to see him on screen. I know that liberty is taken when a writer and/or a director makes or writes a film. Sometimes a film has a piece of information in it that is more 'suppose this happened', or 'this really could be true, and a part of this person's life'. I think that is the supposition in this film. Everyone knows that Howard Hughes had a mental illness in the last part of his life. The way this story is presented, you have a better understanding of how the people around him dealt with the situation. I just really enjoyed watching this film very, very much. Funny, I think Alden Ehrenreich, in this film, looks like a young Leonardo DiCaprio, and DiCaprio played Howard Hughes in "Aviator".
